Apprentice exchange

Apprentice exchange

Jan Eckardt and Patrick Nickels, apprentices in Waiblingen, report on their wonderful experience abroad:

Six weeks on the other side of the world – since 2012, a number of Bosch apprentices from Waiblingen have been able to travel 9,000 kilometers to the capital of Thailand as part of a new exchange program. The company is building up a new packaging technology location in Chon Buri, near Bangkok. Following the philosophy of “students train students”, the young associates work together with their Thai colleagues and pass on their expertise. The apprentices also learn to work independently and to improvise where necessary.

This professional stay in Asia is part of the international apprentice exchange program at Bosch. This program aims to teach apprentices all over the world to adopt a responsible approach and to work as a team.
